The Captains #1 role is safety of those onboard and those around us while on the water. Adam has been driving boats like this since he was very young so is very experienced. However, if you think Adam might not see something, please bring it to his attention.
He focuses on safety so you can focus on fun!
The engines can be dangerous. When going into water, be sure captain knows.
Also, when fishing, keep your line away from the engines.
When last person is out of the water and the ladder(s) are up, let Adam know so he will know it is safe to go
Under the floor of driving area are the life jackets. We always have at least 12 life jackets
We also have many other coast guard approved items to help in event of an emergency and more likely to be able to help others in distress
Our boat has an Automatic Identification System (AIS) linked to a unique 9-digit Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI) number which is usually used for commercial ships over 300 gross tons on international voyages, cargo ships over 500 gross tons, and all passenger vessels regardless of size
AIS acts as a critical lifesaver by providing real-time position tracking and instant situational awareness to rescuers and nearby vessels
Instant Distress Broadcasts
Radar - we can see boats, land, weather, etc. even in zero visibility of fog
Starlink - we can turn this on for Wi-Fi, calling, etc. even when out of mobile phone range
Charts - we know the waters here well, but with electronic charts, we have even greater confidence

Use the bathroom at the house (empty your tank) - the boat has a bathroom, but it is used for more pressing matters as the tank empties into the water which we try and keep clean as possible - however, please just ask if you need to use it
If possible, apply spray sunscreen by the pool as spray sunscreens can inadvertently make dock or boat slippery.

Board from the front and use dock pole/cleat for balance as you step in on to the front seat
Personal items like bags, towels, shoes, etc. can be stored under the front two seats

Please just ask as to conditions that day - further you are to back of boat, the more smooth and relaxing the ride. If we get underway and you need to relocation, just wave your hand and captain will slow down so you can relocate safety
Adam will warn everyone before going on plane/fast so you can secure yourself, hats, drinks, etc.

Once the boat is tied off, it is safe to get off from the front
Please help bring things from the boat back up to the pool/house

1,350 horsepower, 3 Yamaha 450 engines, 450 gallons of gas, diesel generator, and 45 gallons of fresh water

When on a boat, fresh water is precious. Turn off water when it is not rinsing you. Meaning, turn water on, rinse, turn off, lather up or wash, and turn back on to rinse. This process uses less than 50% of normal water usage.
The boat has salt water washdown hoses too so we use these for rinsing off fish mess, etc. - unlimited water here

Seakeeper 4 to reduce rocking of the boat - boat roll usually kept within 1 degree minimizing seasickness feeling
Shade - electric shade for back of the boat and manual shade we use on the front - both can be put up/out when not going fast
4 people sit comfortable up front, 3-4 sitting with driver, standing area behind driver, 3 rear facing bench seats in the back and 2 forward facing bench seats in the back
